Serena Spa At Piccadilly Hotel [Review]

Spas are a wonderful way to relax and rejuvenate oneself. While the perks of living in a city like Delhi are endless, there are also plenty of inevitable negatives. Stress, anxiety, stiff muscles, sore eyes – we are all victims at some point. But just as always, our fabulous city has a solution – it has many, many spas! We recently paid a visit to Serena Spa to pamper, heal and feed your body and soul.  ❤ 🙂

Serena Spa is a paradise filled with exotic aromas, essential oils, spice and floral fragrances, designed to enhance and optimise the total “mind – body experience”. Their extensive day spa menu includes Full Body Massage, Body Scrubs, Body Wraps, Facials. They have combined the best traditions of Ayurveda with Aromatherapy and modern massage techniques to create a unique experience.

We indulged in some much-needed ‘me’ time & experienced their two best massages that we would definitely recommend you – Coconut Milk Massage & Activated Charcoal.

Activated Charcoal massage is  a 45 minute soothing massage using a luscious scrub, which is made by combining activated charcoal powder and yogurt. Activated charcoal is very different than burned chunks of wood — it’s charcoal that’s been purified and made extra-porous, so it is designed to suck out the toxins and impurities. This all-natural product doesn’t have additional chemicals which would affect the body and therefore is better in the long run.  Activated charcoal also helps with tightening the pores of the skin and even helps with irritated, skin abrasions.  The yogurt helps replenish the moisture in your skin, therefore leaving the skin lush and revitalized with the feeling of freshness.

& Next is Coconut Milk Massage

Want silky smooth baby skin? It possible with this massage. It includes rich coconut milk & coconut oil.
The milk which is made out of the inner white matter/crux of freshly grated coconut makes the skin smooth and supple. It will give a new complexion for your skin naturally

The pleasurable scents and the relaxing music had put the mind to rest and let our thoughts wander off while the massage therapy relaxed our muscles and increased blood circulation. We felt buoyant and energized afterwards. 😀

This March, they have something special for the ladies to celebrate the women’s Day! So go check it out.
