Hyatt Regency Gurgaon Restaurant & Spa [Review]

Hyatt Regency Gurgaon is the largest five star convention hotel in Gurgaon with the meeting and event facility to accommodate upto 3000 people. It is strategically located in the rapidly expanding corporate and residential hub of India off the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway 8. Located thirty minutes from the Indira Gandhi International Airport and fifteen minutes from Gurgaon city centre, the hotel is an ideal weekend getaway for Delhi NCR residents and offers a convenient stop over for tourists covering the ‘Golden Triangle’ of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.

We had heard a lot about it & so we decided to go review the restaurant – Kitchen District & Spa – Shvasa Spa

Shvasa is inspired from the Sanskrit word ‘Shvasan’ that translates to ‘breathing or breath’ which is the core of our existence. The spa offers an array of luxury spa treatments for your well being. Their extensive day spa menu includes Full Body Massage, Body Scrubs, Body Wraps, Facials, Manicure and Pedicure.

We indulged in some much-needed ‘me’ time & experienced their two best massages that we would definitely recommend you – Hot stone massage & Abhyanga.

Hot stone massage is a natural therapy in which warmed stones are positioned on parts of the client’s body of to maximize the therapeutic benefit. It’s also suited for people who have muscle tension but prefer a lighter massage. The penetrating heat and weight of the stones are said warm and relax tense muscles. Placing the warmed stones over acupressure points help release the flow of energy and promote the body’s own healing process.

Their therapists are well-trained and the best we have met so far!

Next is the Abhyanga.
It is an ancient Indian Ayurvedic oil massage therapy for healing and detoxifying Body, Mind and Spirit. This ayurvedic detox and stress reduction therapy is performed by herbal oils. It incorporates an aromatic combination of oils prepared with herbs warmed and blended together.

It is one of the most popular therapy in Ayurveda Body work treatments & includes –

  • Indian scalp and head oil massage,
  • neck and shoulder oil massage,
  • feet and legs oil massage,
  • hands and palm oil massage,
  • back massage and
  • belly massage with oils.
The session ends with steam therapy.  Trust me, it worth it! 🙂
We came out with a big smile on our face. Relaxed & Recharged we were all set to try the menu at Kitchen District.Kitchen District, is multi-cuisine restaurant that exudes a distinct identity by creating a singular culinary experience. What makes it unique is that apart from normal menu it has theme based menu that changes every month.

Month of February is all about love, so they decided to make this special theme based menu with strawberries.
Their team of passionate chefs had served us some of the best dishes one can have on planet earth!
Picture speaks for itself. A thousand emotions can be expressed just by one picture. All i can say is that sweets dreams are made of this.
If you’re thinking of creating special moments with your loved ones or friends or family, then do visit this hotel.
