An exuberant show was put together to bring a majestic closure to the five- day long fashion extravaganza.The capital turned into a fashion Mecca with 25 coveted Indian designers putting forward the most magnificent show in the history of Indian fashion. This was the first time that 25 top Indian designers teamed up to pay an ode to the rich “Crafts of India”, at the AIFW, which celebrated its silver jubilee last night.

The show was a visual delight and the designers made it even more delightful with their striking array of designs representing western, fusion and Indian.

Bigwigs from fashion industry – Abraham & Thakore, Amit Agarwal, Anamika Khanna, Aneeth Arora, Anju Modi, Ashish Soni, Gaurav Gupta, JJ Valaya, Manish Arora, Manish Malhotra, Monisha Jaising, Namrata Joshipura, Pankaj & Nidhi, Raghvendra Rathore, Rahul Mishra, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna, Rina Dhaka, Ritu Kumar, Rohit Bal, Sabyasachi, Suneet Varma, Tarun Tahiliani, Varun Bahl and Wendell Rodricks presented their collection in the finale.

Each of the designers showcased two of their best ensembles highlighting India crafts and weaves with hues of royal crimson, blazing reds and fiery orange.

The final show was held at Pragati Maidan on Sunday and was also streamed live on the Amazon India Fashion Week page, which gave an opportunity to people across India to watch the show and participate in the celebration!
